Vayots Dzor Marz (region) is located in the northern part of Armenia. The total area of the region is 2,308 square kilometers, the population - 53 thousand people. The administrative center (capital) is the city of Yeghegnadzor, which is located 160 km far from the capital city of Yerevan.
