Barbeque festival

The All-Armenian barbeque festival is held in the city of Akhtala of Lori Marz (region) every year, on the first Sunday of September. The festival is already famous throughout the world and it involves not only the representatives of the different regions of Armenia but also Armenians from abroad. Tens of individual cooks and restaurants that represent separate pavilions cook different kinds of barbecue of meat, vegetables, and fruit during the festival... Barbeque Festival is not only a festival of taste.
