Sergei Parajanov

Sergei Parajanov is one of the eminent filmmakers of the 20th century; he is a national artist of Armenia and the Ukraine. His works relate to the world and to humanity. Parajanov’s masterpiece is undoubtedly the film "The Color of Pomegranates." Except the film art, he also painted and played on musical instruments. He is the author of numerous beautiful collages. The Studio Parajanov-Vardanov was founded in Hollywood, in 2010. The asteroid 3963, discovered in 1969, is named after Sergei Parajanov.
