Sergei Parajanov House-Museum

Sergei Parajanov is a world famous Armenian film director, whose life and works have been directly connected with native land. Visiting the house-museum of Sergei Parajanov, one will get to know not only the individual episodes of life and activities of the genius filmmaker, but also will get a great aesthetic pleasure there. Interesting events are periodically organized in the museum, including the traditional "Autumn Evening", where the prominent cultural figures of the republic take part. A tradition has formed in the museum to organize a feast at the Parajanov’s large table for the dignitary guests, during which the guests try special dishes that Parajanov himself liked. So, they become the guests of not only the museum, but also of Parajanov himself. And they are told: "Today you are the guests of Parajanov." The film director especially preferred dolma and pilaf of the dishes.
