Cafesjian Museum of Art

Cafesjian Museum of Art opened in 2009. It is located in the favorite place of the residents of Yerevan, in the Cascade, at the address of Tamanyan 3. Cascade was designed by the famous Armenian architect, the author of the draft of Yerevan, Alexander Tamanyan and was built by support of Gerald Cafesjian. Now the Cafesjian Museum of Art, with its rich collection is located in the territory of the Cascade. This center receives more than 1 million visitors a year under his hospitable roof. The exhibitions of Cafesjian Museum of Art mainly include the rich collection of the founder of the Museum - Gerald Cafesjian. This collection, which consists of more than 5 thousand exhibits, particularly is rich in samples of modern arts on the glass. The works of famous Czech sculptors, Stanislav Libensky and Jaroslava Brychtova stand out. Here you can also admire the works of Dale Chihuly, Bohumil Elias, Pavel Hlava, Jaromir Rybak, Ivana Shramkova, Bertil Vallien, Lino Taliapietra, Mark Peyzer and Hiroshi Yamano.
