Pan-Armenian Games

Once every four years, Yerevan receives thousands of sportsmen from around the world. The idea of Pan-Armenian Games has been circulated back in the early 1960s. Only the citizens of the RA and the foreign citizens of Armenian origin are entitled to take part in these games. The first Pan-Armenian Games were held in 1999 in different types of single and group sports. Nowadays the Pan-Armenian Games are already held periodically expanding in their geographical coverage. The Pan-Armenian Games are real feast not only for the residents of Yerevan, but also for all the Armenians of the world who participate or follow these games. The capital Yerevan is becoming brighter and more beautiful during the Pan-Armenian Games and it seems to be smiling to the guests…
